Sound barrier perforation

Perforated sound barrier hole type is mainly divided into louvered hole sound barrier, round hole sound barrier two types of holes. The perforation type we often see in high speeds, neighbourhoods and factories is dominated by louvered holes.  The noise reduction effect is better for the high frequency sound greater than 2000Hz than the medium frequency sound around 800-1000Hz, but for the low frequency sound around 25Hz. However, for low frequency sound around 25Hz, the effect is poor because the wavelength of sound is long and it is easy to bypass from the top of the barrier. Usually, the sound barrier can reduce the high frequency sound by l0-15dB. The height of the sound barrier can be designed according to the distance between the sound source and the reception point, and the height of the sound barrier can be doubled, so the noise reduction can be reduced by l0-15dB.
